Search by date first, place second
Most people pick a place and then look for dates. At short notice that’s backwards. Put your dates into the booking site, tick the hot tub filter, and see which parts of the country still have anything left.
It helps to know where the supply is. When we counted, Wales had far more hot tub glamping listed than any other region on this site. Start there, and try Cornwall or Scotland if Wales comes up empty.
Go midweek if you can
Friday and Saturday nights tend to go first. Sunday to Thursday is where late gaps are more likely to turn up. If you can work from a pod on Monday morning, you’ll have far more to choose from.
Why some tubs need notice
Not every site can take a booking for tonight. Wood fired tubs are filled fresh for each set of guests. Argyll and Bute Council’s 2024 advice to operators says the water in this kind of tub must be drained after each bathing session, so someone has to empty, clean and refill it before you arrive. Electric tubs that have been refilled need hours to come back up to temperature.
So ask the question before you pay. Will the tub be filled and ready when we get there?
Check before you pay
Three things catch people out on late bookings. First, the latest arrival time, which can be earlier than you’d expect on a farm. Second, extras. Are the hot tub and the logs included in the price? Third, the cancellation terms, which can be stricter this close to the date. We’ve put the main booking sites’ cancellation policies side by side.
Booking links
The numbers are what each booking site’s own page showed on 4 October 2026. Stock changes daily, so treat them as a guide. We may be paid a commission when you book through a link on this site. It doesn’t change the price you pay. How we make money
