Glamping Pods With Hot Tub

Glamping with hot tubs in Devon

Devon has two coasts and two moors, which is more variety than a county this size has any right to. On 4 October 2026, holidaycottages.co.uk listed 37 glamping stays with a hot tub in and around the county and Sykes listed 19 huts, pods and yurts.

Where to base yourself

North Devon has the surf beaches. Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton face the Atlantic and fill up with boards and wetsuits in summer.

Exmoor, which Devon shares with Somerset, is high moorland that ends in sea cliffs. Red deer live up here.

Dartmoor fills the middle of the county. Granite tors, ponies and weather that changes in minutes. It’s the wildest of the lot.

The South Hams is the smart end. Salcombe, Dartmouth and the estuaries between them. East Devon has the red cliffs of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, and it’s the nearest part to the M5.

Stars from the tub

Exmoor has been an International Dark Sky Reserve since 2011. A pod on the northern moor gives you the best odds of a properly dark night. Dartmoor has no formal status, though the middle of it is a long way from anywhere lit.

When to go

July and August are busy on both coasts. September is the month we’d pick. The sea is at its warmest after a summer of sun, the schools are back and the evenings are still mild enough to sit out.

Getting there

The M5 ends at Exeter. From there the A38 heads for Plymouth. The A30 crosses the north of Dartmoor towards Cornwall. For North Devon you want the A361, which leaves the M5 further up at Tiverton. Trains from London Paddington reach Exeter in a little over two hours.

Good to know

Holidu has no page for hot tub glamping in Devon alone, so our Holidu link opens its England results for you to narrow down. Devon splits neatly in two, so decide between north and south before you search. The drive from one coast to the other takes longer than it looks on the map.
